Hi Wendy and others,
We discussed this at the meeting and I just wanted to point you toward
a bit of code.
The OneWayANOVAInitBox.java in the 3.1 release and in CVS on sourceforge
seems to have my fix for multiple JPanels if you have more than 512
It constructs an array of JPanels of required size (with 512 components
per panel, max)
and computes the y grid coordinate for the buttons on the current panel
by taking i%512
where i =3D 0 to numSamples-1.=20
I doubt that it's practical for folks to use >512 buttons but if it's
you can take a look at it. (It's in the code for
which is a internal class to the init dialog for ANOVA) It was a one
for someone here.
I think the file based approach and possibly an annotation based
might be your best bet for a practical solution. You might want to
presentation of all of the buttons is even needed.
