I am using a Linux machine to run MeV and I am trying to sort my samples in the map. When I open the Sample Label Editor and drag samples to new locations and then press OK, the order does not change in the map.
I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before and if they have any solutions for this.

The order seems not to affect the "Original data". But, in Original Data / Sample Table View, it is possible to reorder the samples according an annotation. Then the samples could be ordered as you want. Select all the lines (aka samples in this view) and launch a new session: the columns of the original data of this new session should be fine.
