    Hi,

Is it possible to load and analyse normalized qPCR data in MeV in order to make clustering, classification and maybe statistical analysis ?
If not, is this could be interresting as an implementation of MeV ?

    Many thanks,

    Ben

    Hi there Ben,

You should be able to get qPCR data into MeV.
MeV can load and analyze pretty much any data that is a matrix of floating-point numbers. The MeV manual has some instructions about the file formats that MeV can load from. I'd suggest the TDMS (tab-delimited multiple sample) file format as your easiest option.

    Hi Eleanor,

Thanks for your answer and advice.

I will try this as soon as possible but I have an other question about the data to load : is it better to have log transformed data or it doesn't mater ?
Because I usually use MeV with normalized microarray data that are log transformed.
Is the approach with qPCR should be the same ?

    Thanks.

    Hi Ben,

It doesn't really matter if your data is log transformed or not. MeV will treat it the same way, regardless.
