Impossible to finish, the exe is still running an consumming CPU.
I tried to process a hugh file, 8.7 Go mkv whici is not reading well in VLC, but the application is working since more than 6 hours with an intel core i7 vPro without any time remaining.
It seems algorythm is not optimized to process such files.
Hello Romain,
There ise a workaround. Need "damaged.mkv" file re-mux with FFMpeg before Meteorite repaired:
ffmpeg.exe -i "damaged.mkv" -c:v copy -c:a copy "remuxed_damaged.mkv"
And then, you drag-to-drop the "remuxed_damaged.mkv" file to Meteorite. So, Meteorite can be repaired this file without stuck.
Meanwhile, Need version 3.1.5 (or previously versions) of FFmpeg. Later versions of FFmpeg 3.1.5 don't work this workaround. They broke or changed something since version 3.1.5. I don't know why.
You can download FFmpeg v3.1.5 (or previously builds) from here.
I hope, this workaround can be helpful to you and all users.
