    Hi all,

I am using the newest version of Metawatt and the software is working fine for me, it's very helpful. Currently I am stucked with a problem, maybe you can help me finding a solution.
Basically I would like to export the data that are shown under "Genes-" and "Binning-"tab after running the pipeline. I was trying to follow the way how Metwatt creates which prediction in which file etc. But there are 3 problems for me:

    1. I am not able to get all the informations out of the tables created under "Genes-" and "Binning-"tab for external processing. Copy/Paste is only working for the Binning table and is only possible one line by another. Genes-table does not allow copy/paste at all. When I follow the created files I always miss some data as point 2 and 3 describe.
    2. The created files do not include the names of predicted genes; I couldn't figure out how to transcript the files info into names.
    3. When using binset "binned contigs" I am not able to extract the information on predicted organism under Binning-tab together with tabular listed results. Basically it's the information of the pie chart.

Is there a way to export all the data Metawatt is providing?
I would be happy about any help!
    Many thanks,
    Marco

      Hi Marco,
you're right, the export options could be improved. I'll work on that
and get back to you asp...
      Best wishes,
      Marc

      Marco,
I new version has been released (3.5.1) that allows you to copy paste
data to excel from bin, gene and contig tables.
Hope this solves your problem. Thanks for the feedback!
      Best wishes,
      Marc
