#6 Including TeX/LaTeX support

The MetaUML manual includes the following example:

input TEX;

beginfig(1);
Note.A("This class implements the formula:",
TEX("$\sum_1^n f(x) \cdot dx$"));
drawObjects(A);
endfig;
end

However, including TeX or LaTeX code is not supported. The various elements (in this example Note), can take strings as options only. Support for (La)TeX is essential.

The effort this would take would be non-proportional to the advantage of using a TeX command within a box.

The tool does exactly what it is meant to do. Adding LaTeX or TeX would add considerably to complexity without substantial benefits.

I do not think adding TeX commands to this tool is essential.
