We are a group of students, developing on the podbot, by making it capable of communicating with eachother, which should make better tactical decisions.
I have been following kWo's guide (http://forums.bots-united.com/printthread.php?t=4822&pp=40) of how to compile the sourcecode of the PODbot, but the only link that is being linked to is this following link:
which doesn't work.
It seems fairly hard to find the GNU Compiler Collection "cygwin-gcc-linux.tar.bz2". Please Help i have been using hours and hours trying to find the GCC.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Why not use Linux in virtual-pc for compiling .so binaries?

Not that XP in Linux but is it possible taking a piece of pure C++ code, and compile it in linux?
The reason why we chose using cygwin, was because of kWo's guide, which seem very legit, but since it is outdated due to the gcc, is it maybe better to go through other channels, such as a virtual machine.
Thanks in advance - Christian
