If I have cloned the git repository, made some changes, and wish to submit those changes for inclusion in the project, what is the recommended procedure?

    Hi,

whatever you are most comfortable with. I have no strong preferences, and it depends how private you want to make it, but as you ask, I'd order it like that (most preferred first):

    • use any of the SF Trackers to attach a patch,

    • send a patch to my SF email account,

    • push directly to the "contrib" branch of the SF git repository (requires that you have an SF account which I will add to the list of allowed committers), or

    • provide a git URL (here or in a SF Tracker (possibly marked "private", though I can't tell how private this really is) or send it to my SF email account) from where I could pull your changes.

    Kind regards,
    Thomas
