#8 text rendering

For the GUI widget the text has to be rendered on a
graphics canvas.

obvious is has to support like other editors
* anti aliasing
* bold/italic/underlined/reverse

I want more!!!
* texture mapping
* custom fonts

of course the latter has must not be exaggerated.

* blink / animated characters. could be useful for hiliting
errors/warnings.
* animated full-page scroll (example: one page = 7 frames).
* animated fold-collapse/expand (example: 7 frames for
collapse).
* lines which exceeds the borders of the screen is indicated
with an right/left arrow ala norton-commander editor. A
horizontal scroller is bloat as i see it, but some people
wants it.
