I have been running a hobby site on Metadot for a couple of years. Recently, I have been unable to upload new files. No error messages are displayed in either the httpd error log or the screen when in debug mode, but the new directory is not created, and no file is uploaded. If I delete a previous metadot upload, I can upload a new one to replace the one deleted.
I have 1085 sub directories (nnnn) in the "files" directory. I can manually add new directories in the files directory above the 1085 limit. These do not have any impact on the problem (ie If I delete a previous Metadot upload, I can still add a new one.
I am running Metadot 4 on Redhat 7.0.
Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem?
Steve

Changing the upload quota as described in the "uploaded files" thread fixed the problem.
