#41 Hole Bridging

Currently i am using Meshlab v1.3.2. I would like to connect two disjoint pieces which kept apart. The gap between them should be filled by creating mesh(Not merging the two pieces) and smoothen it. Is it possible to do it so in meshlab? When i browsed through, i found the following video which exactly depicts my requirement. I would like to do something similar, with my geometry. In Meshlab, i figured out a function called 'Hole Bridging'. I assume that it will do something similar to what i want, but the problem is, that function is always disabled. I dont know how to use it. Can you please help me out?
