#3 Meshlabserver cannot safe 3ds files

Hi
I'm using windows 7 x64 and MeshLabDevel_v123BETA_2009_12_18

When I run

meshlabserver.exe -i "test.3ds" -o "testsmoothed.3ds" -s LaplaceSmooth5It.mlx

it says "Error encountered while exporting file, File saving aborted."... However if I try to save as ply or obj file, it works. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I also tried with meshlab 1.2.2, and running meshlabserver as admin and without the script...

I have installed MeshLab 1.3.2, also the 64-bit version on Windows 7, and I cannot find the 3DS-format when trying to export a .ply-mesh using "Export mesh as...". Is there a synonym for it or why is it missing?

MeshLab 64bit for Windows has not support for 3DS format. If you have to
save something in 3ds i suggest you to download the 32bit version.
