MeshLab 0.5 Released

MeshLab is a portable, qt based, interactive system for the user assisted processing of large unstructured 3D triangular meshes.
The system is aimed to help the processing of 3D scanning meshes, providing a set of tools for cleaning and healing this kind of meshes.
The system is heavily based on the VCG library developed at the Visual Computing Lab of ISTI - CNR, for all the core mesh processing tasks.

The project is partially supported by the European Networks of Excellence Epoch and AimAtShape.

      o Removal of duplicated, unreferenced vertices, null faces
      o Subdivision filters (midpoint, loop and butterfly)
      o Coherent face normal unification and flipping
* OpenGL Shader based rendering
* Large Rendering (up to 16kx16k) for high quality printing
* Various Colorization Filters
      o Gaussian and mean curvature
      o Border edges
      o Non two-manifold faces
