Hello everybody... i have some question about MeshLab: first: iv just compiled MeshLab on my gentoo. BUT: make install appear not do what i suppose: make install command scrolls down the folders looking for something to do but always say "nothing to do in...". I think im doing something wrong... couse after that meshlab appear not to be in my path! and not to be anywhere else! So im running meshlab from the folder where iv compiled it... second: i would like to work with LIDAR obtained point-cloud. I have loaded one of these clouds in meshlab and it appear working very well (I have converted the cloud from vtk to ply format using Paraview). I would like to try the "build surface from point" but when i "click" on the button in the menu nothing happen! Is this normal? i'm forgetting something? third: my points-cloud is in the format x,y,z,I where I is the value of reflectance recorded by the LIDAR. It variates from 0 to 255. Is it possible to use this value to colorize the points (and/or the mesh ill create)?? Like to say: black for 0, white for 255! And how can i control the dimension and shape of the points?
