Hello,
I am responsible for the pickpoints edit plugin. I have tested it
extensively on windows with minGW compiler and on linux with g++ and
have found no problems. Could you please tell me what exactly you did
to make it crash? Saying just that there is a bug does not help solve
it. Here is some information on how to report bugs effectively:

Thanks

Hi, Paolo,
thanks for the reply. I'm using meshlab for a while and find it's so
powerful and wonderful, but have some problems, maybe I did not find
some functions:
1. save a mesh to ply, is it possible to only write out the vertises,
and do not save out the face? because i found it's quite useful
2. is there a plugin select vertexs in a region similar to the plugin
"select faces in a region"?
3. the pickpoints edit plugin crashes
4. the texture atlas plugin just write the whole textures into the
atlas, but the recent methods use facewise method so that the part of
the images which do not correspond to any mesh face will not be written
into the atlas. Is this method implemented yet? if not, any plan for it?
5. I have looked through the code of some plugins and found that some
codes are using dynamic arrays in such form: int a[x], where x is a
variable, i think this is not in standard c++ format and it does not
pass the compliation on my computer (which is visual c++ 2003), is it
because of the wrong settings of my development tool?
thanks a lot for the wonderful meshlab tool, hope meshlab will grow
bigger and have more users. hopefully more people (including me) will
contribute more and more to meshlab!

Dear all:
Does anybody knows about the process of the plugins "texture atlas"
and "photo texturer"? Havn't seen any update since August. And I also
can't find them in the meshlab release 1.2.0.
Does anybody know that the work <Masked Photo Blending:mapping dense
photographic dataset on high-resolution sampled 3Dmodels> of Paulo
implemented in vcglib or the photo texturer plugin, if no, does anybody
has a plan on that? Thanks very much!

Yes, TextureAtlas filter still has some issues. So we will work on it
later, after the very delayed 1.2.0 deployment...
and yes, we plan in the next future to make grow the current
phototexturing plugin into the technique described in the above cited
paper.
cheers and thanks for the comments.
