Subject: [Meshlab-devel] Important Update to MeshEditInterface will
happenon Monday
Hello all,
As Paolo has mentioned, and we have discussed here
(http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/MeshLab_Architecture)
there will be some improvements to the Meshlab Architecture. A couple
of them are coded and will be committed on Monday October 13 in the
morning.
Specifically, there will be changes to the MeshEditInterface and how
mesh editing tools are loaded as plugins and instantiated in memory.
For details look here:
http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/MeshEditInterface_Develope
r_Guide
What you have to do:
1. Nothing! the current version of everyone's edit plugins will be
updated to accommodate these changes.
2. If you have made changes to your edit plugin and dont want to have to
merge in this update then check in your code(only if it compiles!!!) by
monday morning.
If you have any questions after reading over the wiki link please feel
free to ask.
Cheers,
Oscar and Paolo
