Dear meshlab developers:
I am very new to meshlab, and want to learn how
to use meshlab to repair a surface with self-intersecting
elements. Also, I am also interested to read the source
code to learn the algorithms behind this.
From meshlab's interface, I can load my surface and
I can select the self-intersecting faces with
Filter\Selection\Self intersecting Faces. But I am not
sure how to repair the mesh. I tried deleting the
selected faces, and then fill holes by
Filter\Remeshing, simplification and reconstruction\Close Holes
but then use selection menu, I still get a bunch of
Any other options I should be using?
If such repairing function does exist in meshlab, can
anyone points to me which source unit file it is written in?
I did some grepping in the svn code, but got very
confused where to look at.
thank you in advance.
