Can (or does) Meshlab support double-precision for vertex locations? I see that output files appear to only write single-precision vertex locations, and it is also apparent that some Meshlab operations fail when triangle slivers (such as those created during CSG operations on meshes using external software) are present. It would be very useful for me to have some way to force Meshlab to use double-precision (or even quad- or infinite-precision) numbers internally and for output.
Seeing as how vertexes in VCG accept template arguments for data type, this might be a straightforward moodification. I have not looked deeply at Meshlab code to know this with any kind of certainty.
Thank you for continuing to improve Meshlab over the last few years, it has become a very useful tool for much of my work.
