    Hi,

I enjoy using MeshLab, but I have a question about cleaning up data. I've been
using the "Select Vertexes" and then used Cntl+Del to get rid of large regions
that I don't want. However this is very difficult to do when when the geometry
is warped and I need to keep certain features.

I like the "painting" function of the mesh segmention.....is something like
this available to paint the mesh and then delete what I've painted?

    Thanks!

Never mind, I figured out a way to do it:

    1. Paint/flood entire mesh one color
    2. Paint region(s) to remove a second color
    3. Save mesh
    4. Re-Open mesh
    5. Filters -> Selection -> Select face by vertex color
    6. Delete
    7. Done!
