Color Transfer: Texture to Vertex issues

I'm trying to get a 3D scanned model from 123D Catch ready for color 3D-printing, and I'm having some issues converting the color from texture to vertex color.
When I try transferring the color, part of the model looks fine, while the rest of it looks like a complete patchwork of nonsensible colors. I suspect it has to do with the fact that the .obj file uses three separate textures, and Meshlab mistakenly only transfers one of them to vertex color.
Anyone know how to solve this? Might merging all three textures do the trick, and if so, how would I go about that?

I have exactly the same problem.

Well, I figured out a workaround, if you are indeed working from 123D. What I did to sort out the problem was to go on a windows pc and download the 123D Catch software. From there, I imported my model from the 123D server and switched the quality (To the right on the top toolbar) to maximum, and then exported again. I've tested this twice with different scans, and it has worked both times.

What this does is it only generates a single UV map, so the Transfer Color: Texture to Vertex command works like a charm.

Thanks Syver. I will definitely try that on the 123D Catch models.

However, the images I uploaded are of a model based on a laser scanned point cloud so that won't work :S I wonder though if something is happening to the texture coordinates when a mesh is resampled to reduce it in size for a more manageable model?
