I want to open a topic to share our method to make a mesh
In meshlab, most people use poisson surface reconstruction, but there are so many other algorithm to do create a mesh like "Surface reconstruction VCG" and "Surface Reconstruction Ball pivoting".
which one is the best to make a mesh for a dense point cloud (more than 20 millions point).
For my part i use always a poisson surface reconstruction with this parametre :
octree depht 12
solver divide 10
samples per node 1
surface offsetting : 1
