Texture export: colour saturation issues

Hi all, any advice appreciated:
When exporting texture (topview), I am having colour saturation/ level issues. This is in fact visible from opening my .obj in the workspace from the beginning. I work with Photoscan photogrammetry software, which in the attached image has a quality as seen on the right. My Meshlab export can be see on the left. Dramatically different!!
I hope to keep the export as close to the original as possible.
My method of export is from an earlier found post:
Under Windows - View from - Front (or Top)
Under Render - Background Grid (can be adjusted under Tools - Options)
Press Shift + scroll wheel until FOV: Ortho (watch bottom left of screen for Ortho)
Then under File - Save snapshot - Use the "Screen Multiplier" for larger images. (multiplies image size)

I suck and don't know the answer to your question because I don't even know how to export a MeshLab texture. You apparently do; could you tell me? I looked at this thread hoping to get a solution to my question about how to export textures (which, when I asked, was ignored pout). Could you please tell me how you did that? I would be eternally grateful. =D
