We manufacture and sell 3D scanners around the world, some of our clients are using MeshLab for extra viewing/editing of our models. Recently they are facing issues with PLY files with texture.
Attached there are 3 pictures of the same model saved in different formats - PLY, OBJ, WRL - and opened in MeshLab. WRL and OBJ display the correct texture, PLY shows only geometry.
