This model of a building - I think it's a hotel - that I have downloaded causes Meshlab to crash absolutely, without notification, to the \"This program has crashed, do you want to snitch on it to Microsoft?\" box. Meshlab will read the OBJ file included with it without crashing but potentially with artifacts (the roof of the building isn't there, I don't know if it really isn't there or Meshlab is failing to draw it).
I downloaded this from some free 3D model site but I can't remember which one, and the archive is about 4 meg, the .3DS file when uncompressed is 2.5 MB, and placed alone compressed in a ZIP file it's still over 1000K - which means I can't upload it either - so I've made a copy of the complete archive and put it on my website at

and you can download it from there. The .OBJ file in the internal zip file, when I pull it out into the same directory as the 3DS file (so I can pick up any textures that it might have used) will load in Meshlab but the .3DS file causes Meshlab to crash & burn.
