That's reasonably justifiable, it is a mail ARCHIVE, so it shouldn't really matter if you can only get messages from it that are older than 1 day. It would use more CPU cycles just to update the index each time an email arrives. Good, I've access to a RH 7.1 box that I'm currently downloading the mbox to (220KB/s download - gotta love fast connections at work !) Where is this "leonard-dev" of which you speak ? There will no doubt be many more questions as I start playing with this.
