yes, my idea was to show you what i'm doing by committing on a personal
dev branch, and so you can see what changes i've made, maybe check it
out through my web server, and we can talk about doing mergeing good
bits to to HEAD. i think of you as being in charge of the LIVE tag anyway.
Lets treat HEAD as being 'what will shortly be LIVE'.
btw i am not adverse to ditchin the leonard-dev branch and starting a new
branch again from head if it becomes too stupid a mess.
that tracking commit was probably overkill. but i've been busy again this
last week, so not much has happened, sorry.
