When the terrain map is set to an odd (as in not even) width n, it
seems that each row is drawn with width of n-1 (with an
increasing number of pixels appearing at the end of the line above
the one they were supposed to be on), resulting in a map that is
skewed in an effect similar to italicisation of text, with a diagonal
half of the image wrapped around to the other side.
