Hi, I'm new to MeshCMS and happy that I've finally found what looks like a home in the Java CMS world! I have the war file deployed, worked through the initial set up and have set up a couple of test sites. I wonder if anyone with experience, can tell me if it's possible to set up MeshCMS as follows: -A single instance of MeshCMS, running multiple sites responding to their own URLs (I already have this running using my hosts file). -Separate individual users, tied to the above individual sites -These users are able administer their site to some degree, such as add/edit/delete their own pages I appreciate any feedback that will help me get up to speed here. Thanks |

Hi, I tried many times, creating some page levels, it keeps working fine. I've also tried applying the theme to subpages and to virtual sites. If it is not working on your site, please give me a way to check it (url, files or full site map) so I can try to catch the bug. Luciano |

Using that theme, when a child page exists, and you visit the child page, the menu header link is now wrong. ie create a Services page, drop children pages into Services, and then visit a child of Services, now check the services top menu bar, it doesn't point to services etc... previous it worked. Sorry there's no user control panel in MeshCMS. If someone wants to contribute one, it wouldn't be hard to make it, since it's all about loading properties, editing them and saving again. How about editing other users while logging as administrator? Or simple display the list of existing users in the system? For example, I don't have access to server file system (via ssh, fo example) and can not see the list of existed users in MeshCMS. Also other people have admin account. So other people could add new users without my knowledge. And now I as administrator want to know the list of users and manage their rights. Hi, all! Could anybody help me with such question: Does "admin" account at MeshCMS have possibilities for deleting and editing the users? I need very simple actions like "delete user", "edit user home folder", "edit user type", "edit user name" while logging as administrator. -- Alexander Tugayenko tug...@gm... |

Luciano, Congratulations! I hope you had a good time etc.. No problems regarding your time and such - we all appreciate your efforts, and like you, hope that MeshCMS can grow into something more that rewards you more than just a hobby project. One thing that might improve MeshCMS visibility - include some out of the box GWT integration/support, as it seems all the rage atm... In general, however, keep in mind that MeshCMS is a hobby project, so I usually don't answer as fast as it happens with other projects maintained from people who's working on them full time. Hi Tov, Great to hear from you - very few people actually respond on this mailing list. Nice to hear another persons voice. My previous post wasn't a scream for help - I've found what looks like a bug in the current SVN and wanted to know it was going to be fixed or even if it is a bug. Do you know if the new "relative paths everywhere" is meant to break existing themes? Hi, The current svn build 657 has a bug with relative paths. When you create a child page, the menu in the solucija01 theme is broken - the links point to the child page when in fact they should point to the parent. Is this a bug in MeshCMS or the theme? If the theme, what is needed to correct? Cheers, Grant |
