[Mesa3d-dev] New automake and autoconf are out!

My last apt-get upgrade left me with the following versions:
  autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.50
  automake (GNU automake) 1.4-p1
  ltmain.sh (GNU libtool) 1.4 (1.920 2001/04/24 23:26:18)

I'm requesting we officially use them. On my system everything worked perfect.
In fact automake now no longer complains about a missing ltconfig script when
libtool 1.4 is used. On the same note, is there a specific reason for
distributing m4/libtool.m4?

Also the new autoconf generates _much_ prettier help output. I've actually
used their CVS version here on my machine all along.
