Are you talking about 

./configure --with-ggi=/usr/local
make

Then you get an error at the linking?


I sent an email to Brian Paul stating that  I managed to get the cvs to build
with  

libtool 1.3.5
automake 1.4
autoconf 2.13

When I compile with 

./configure --with-ggi=/usr/local
make

Mine compiles and links fine. I would be happy to share what I know with you.
