I don't know if this is coincidence or not, but Slashdot posted
a pointer to an article at tweak3d.net about the various kinds of
bump mapping.  At one point the article mentions that the G400 can
do Environment Mapped Bump Mapping:

"This feature was first introduced in Matrox's G400 graphic card
 series and the upcoming RadeOn GPU from ATI is expected to
 implement EMBM as well."
