Please help: I'm trying to compile Mesa-CVS, but as soon as I take a demo and it tries to link the object file to libGL.so I get some errors: data/Mesa/src-glut/.libs -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/data/Mesa/src/.libs -Wl,--rpath -Wl,/usr/local/lib ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_texcoord' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_vertex' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_fogcoord' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_index' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_range' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_CreateContext' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_elements' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_normal' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_edgeflag' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_secondarycolor' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_InvalidateState' ../src/.libs/libGL.so: undefined reference to `_ac_import_color' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [ipers] Error 1 What did I do? I took the cvs-files of autoconf, automake and libtool and since I'm not root on my machine I configured them with the option ./configure --prefix=/data/local which is a directory, where I can write. Then I make 'make; make install' in all three cases. Then I use export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH and change to the Mesa-dir, where I use './bootstrap;./configure;make', which all runs without any apparent error. Now I 'cd demos; make ipers' and get the error-messages above. What can I do? By the way: I think it was not a good idea to move to the newest version of 'autoconf' etc. I think you really discourage people to look at Mesa with it. Thanks for your help and I hope I can then try some things I have been thinking of this chrismas holydays. Bye Klaus |
