[Mesa3d-users] Newbie question

Hi all,

I'm trying to compile mesa demos (make check) and i always get this
message "/usr/i486-suse-linux/bin/ld : cannot find -lXext" and exit.
Also when i run an already compiled demo (ie GLUT demos), I always get
"GLUT : fatal error : could not open display"
I'm using SuSE linux 6.4 but i haven't installed the precompiled Mesa
drivers, I'm using mesa 6.2.
