[Mesa3d-users] Building MesaLib 3.2 with Sun C

Folks,

I am trying to build MesaLib 3.2 with Sun's C and C++ compiler.  It seems
that the Makefile.in's use the gcc flag "-Wp,-MD,.deps" which doesn't work
with Sun C.  Is it intended that Mesa only be built with gcc when using the
Unix/X11 configure mechanism?  Should this be a configure time controlled
thing?  

For now I am just hacking out the switch and things seem to be working 
(albeit with many warnings).  If interested, I could try and prepare patches
so configure will and the Makefile.in's will work properly with Sun (and
other non-gcc) compilers.  Should I?
