[Mesa3d-users] "undefined reference" to all GL & glut funcs?

I just installed Mesa and GLUT on my RedHat Linux 6.0 box, and tried to
compile a program, but got an "undefined reference" error for each
function from the mesa and glut libraries I tried to call.  Any
advice?
