Thats a graphics toolkit think.  Its different depending on how you
are dislaying mesa.  Are you using SDL, X11, GL4Java, SVGALib, etc etc.
There it also depends on the video card.  Mesa used to have some hooks
to switch for fullscreen for the 3dfx cards.  Anyway, you'll have to
be more specific about what you want.
