i had upgraded hardlylinux-kernel-2.4.20 to linux-2.6.22
gcc-3.2.2-gcc4.2.0 (only with ./configure --prefix=/usr)

and want to ask only Q is

Any community/forums can help me on upgrading/compiling things(for e.g.
X11R6,glibc-2.10,kernel) correctly other then Linux Journal and Linux forums
please help me these things are really stuck I had compiled 100(not actually
but much of time)  but they gives up
