[Mesa3d-users] LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo doesn't work

Hi,
I'm trying to understand why DRI isn't working, so I run:
LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo

But it gives me the exact same output as "glxinfo".
Why is that?
I run Gentoo amd64, MesaProgs-7.0.3, and Mesa from git (r500-support 
branch) with debug flag enabled.
Can anyone help me?
