Hi. I'm running Fedora FC4 and tries to get Mesa to use hardware=20 accelaration (DRI). The Xserver I use is the default that's included with FC4 (x.org 6.8.2)=20 and my video card are i810. My linux kernel is 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4. When I was running "make linux-dri-x86" I got an error about missing a=20 file, I found this file (r200_vtxtmp_x86.S) on the net and downloaded=20 the file and copied it to the directory=20 /home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa/x86 Now when I run "make linux-dri-x86" I get the following error: (I get some swedish language in the output, sorry for this, in english=20 it would probably say something like: No rule to create target=20 "r200_vtxtmp_x86.S", needed for "depend". Stop.) make[6]: Leaving directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa/drivers/dri/r128' r200 make[6]: Entering directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa/drivers/dri/r200' make[6]: *** Ingen regel f=F6r att skapa m=E5let "r200_vtxtmp_x86.S", som= =20 beh=F6vs till "depend". Stannar. make[6]: Leaving directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa/drivers/dri/r200' make[5]: *** [subdirs] Fel 1 make[5]: Leaving directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa/drivers/dri' make[4]: *** [drivers-dri] Fel 2 make[4]: Leaving directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa' make[3]: *** [default] Fel 2 make[3]: Leaving directory=20 `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/src/mesa' make[2]: *** [subdirs] Fel 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2/s= rc' make[1]: *** [default] Fel 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/trademan/download/christer/Mesa-6.3.2' make: *** [linux-dri-x86] Fel 2 My question is how do I get around this, I just need the driver for the=20 chipset i810, that's what my video card use. Thanks in advance for any kind of help! |
