I think the confusion is that originally there was only ubuntu available so i think that was always installed originally with the subsystem. Now a few more distro's are available (as long as you have a new enough version of windows 10) But yes i'm saying with everything enabled, pre req's installed and i even rebuilt the sdk itself, it is still buggy Rob On Fri, Aug 4, 2017 at 4:21 PM, amber lauer <amb...@gm...> wrote: > I've seen guides that only require enabling the subsystem, and the full > distro only became available recently compared to the built in components, > but my assumption was that it would be easier with the latter. > > So you're saying even with the distro installed as well as the prereqs, > it's still buggy? > > So even with the full "distro" installed and the > > On Aug 4, 2017 4:55 AM, "Robert Farmer" <rjf...@as...> wrote: > >> There the same thing, you first have to enable the linux subsystem on >> windows then you can download a linux distro to use with it, i don't think >> you can use the linux subsystem without the downloaded distro. >> >> Anyway the problem is not a mesa problem, its a gcc problem.
