I think the confusion is that originally there was only ubuntu available so
i think that was always installed originally with the subsystem. Now a few
more distro's are available (as long as you have a new enough version of
windows 10)

But yes i'm saying with everything enabled, pre req's installed and i even
rebuilt the sdk itself, it is still buggy
