Hi Zahra,
in /star/public/star_defaults.dek,
there are several switches
under " when to stop" part, to
stop the evolution based on
logTeff, logg, and logL, for ex (~line
256):
        
log_Teff_upper_limit = 1d99
            !
stop when log of T effective is greater than this limit.
Copy
 this line to your working inlist first. Then look at your HR diagram,
and carefully find the logTeff for which the evolutionary tracks loop.
Once you had a good estimate of this logTeff, call it the upper Log Teff
 possible for the evolution of a pre-ms star, and edit your inlist for
log_Teff_upper_limit set to this value. Next, restart ./rn, and
MESA/star automatically stops at this point, and saves the last model
profile into some *.data file.

suggestions.
