Hi,

It has been brought to my attention that the uname command on a Mac will
report the Darwin version, not the Mac OS version.

If you're on a Mac, the sw_vers command will give the Mac OS version, which
is the more relevant number to send.  If you've already sent your info, no
need to send it again.
