Hi Georgios, premise: I'm not a MESA developer, I'm just a user. I've managed to install MESA with gfortran 4.4.1 on my laptop with Ubuntu 9.10 (64 bit). The only problem I got during installation was with pgstar. Bill Paxton solved this problem (see thread "*Problem when installing MESA with pgstar<https://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/message.php?msg_name=AANLkTimD5Ps8MBwgDgeDk7LV6yQf2d9vwdb1HWZ%3DBGMD%40mail.gmail.com> "*). Can you please send the exact output you get when using gfortran ? I'm happy to help if I can help. Also, I need to know your OS and which machines are you using.
