Thanks for the info. Next question is what was the star doing at the time the convergence problems started? Was there a supersonic ejection (check v_surf/csound_surf). Was there a region at the base of the convection zone with Pgas << Prad? Does this look like a legitimate physical event or does it look like something that the code is creating? As you know, not all convergence problems are the result of bugs in the code -- some are "bugs" in nature!!! --Bill |
