mesa-users] Mesa Installation problem

I am trying to install the latest version of MESA (commit 2465) with 
gfortran 4.6 without pgstar functionality. While trying to build the 
"star" package, installation stops with the error
"make: *** No rule to make target `pgstar_stub.o', needed by `star'.  Stop."
What needs to be done?
