Hi Aaron, thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, that installation was only gfortran 4.4, which yields a crash during the star install (because "procedure components are not yet implemented")...

Bill, the link you provided is where I went first, but I think they mislabeled the appropriate file; only the Snow Leopard version exists...
