Below the shell indexed by s% h_shell_k4, there is almost no H burning. 
Is that right?

Is this parameter calculated by mesa from the beginning of a run?

Let's assume the comment in star_data.dek is correct until we see evidence to the contrary.   ; - )

      double precision :: eps_h_max_m ! mass coordinate at location of max burn (Msun units)
