#12 What is the advandage of many ships

I think that i miss somethink.
I cant understund what is the use to have several
ships when you are able to drive only one.
I buy a second ship and i try to make a fleet of
them,but i cant.I hope that you are able to have
several ships in a fleet to increase your cargo
ability and your strength in batles.If this is not
posible what is the advandage to have several ships?
