Vision (as stated by Mike Flahie):
"On the CBRNE course- we are composing a FRAGO.
Just want the module in exportable shape. I will have
the additional requirements (e.g., an option to download
the slides for reference, an option to go directly to the
official website, instructions on taking the course at the
official website, etc.), included in the exportable
package."
Our role is to provide GPRMC an exportable CBRNE
training package.
Requirements:
Create a single .ZIP file that contains the following:
/readme.txt - A simple text file explaining what the three
directories are for.
/documenation/install.txt - A simple text file explaining
where to copy the training contents and how to install
the course in MEPS.
/sqlscripts/cbrne.sql - An SQL script that (a) creates
the CBRNE course the standard regional course code
(to be provided by GPRMC) and (b) creates the online
practice test. Instructions should be listed in the
description indicating that this is only a practice exam
and that users cannot / will not get credit for taking the
training -- there should be a link to the official army site
where they can get credit.
/training/ - a directory with all the images, HTML, and
other associated web-based training which can be
copied into a directory on the webserver and served to
providers in the facility locally.
Have the first release candidate ready for technical
review no later than Tuesday, April 5, 2005.

Are we going to have the practice exams and the
regionalcodes soon? I'll need the practice exams at a
minimum to get started building the script that can create the
exams.
Also:
1. If we put a test on MEPS, practice or not, once they
complete the test wont MEPS registered that course as
complete? Or is there a way to set it that is does not?
2. Where can I create a link to the web site to get credit?

I didn't know if you had a practice test or not -- the exact
instructions are to package what you currently have. If you
don't have a practice test online, don't worry about it.
To provide the link to the authorized site, I recommend that
you:
1. Create a test.
2. Add a question (formatted with HTML) that says
(something like) "Click HERE to log onto the Army's
authorized site and take the test."
3. Possibly add answers written on a white backgound and
white foreground text with no correct answer.
After finishing the online presentation, they'll have the MEPS
test in front of them with no way of passing it -- all they'll be
able to do is link to the authorized site and test from there.

Got it. No such practice test exists that I know of. All we
have are the courses. I'll include all that I have. Thanks.
