IRC chat. Sounds good. Should I register a mentalunix channel on openprojects with the Chanserv? I'm already busy opping on #indrema(we had a dev chat with the CEO last night). Well, for the package manager, using apt/dpkg is the best thing to do. Apt eliminates all of the pesky problems that rpms have(dependencies), but grabbing everything a package needs to be installed. Building from source is also much easier(apt-get -b source program). My idea with yozilla is to get skipstone, and use it as the browser component. Improve stuff like its prefs dialog(add mime type support), and allow it to auto install plugins and such. All the while, adding support for things like mail clients and page compositing. Just use some off the shelf stuff, and integrate it nicely.
